…in the face of the World watching what does and doesn’t get approved by apple for the app store, I’d be authorising the Spotify iPhone app. But further to this, I’d actively be competing with the entire Spotify model, both on client and phone.
I’d take the opportunity at – what will be – the impending press conference to announce all kinds of ‘cool new things’ and then one hell of a ‘one more thing’… Surely apple should be doing deals to make a monthly music and/or video pass a reality? After all, why would you pay Spotify £10 a month to stream unlimited music, if you could pay a figure that floats near that point to download and keep whatever you wanted..?
It’s one of those things that’s long been rumoured… c’mon Steve, give it to us! Shake up the industry again!
