About me
Videographer, Photographer, Writer and enthusiastic GEEK, based in East London, UK.
I used to take photos of bands. I make short films. I write about things. Quite often they both get published online and in books or magazines.
I'm currently working as the Whatsonstage.com TV editor, with a dayjob as a multimedia technician in a top school.
This site is my hub. The place to share my work and activities, alongside things that interest me and many of my rambles.

I’m doing a Flickr 365
Since I hung up my gig-going camera lens, I’ve hardly published anything new on my flickr account. The reason why should be glaringly obvious! However I still love the site and photography in general, so I’ve decided to try and attempt a 365. For the unitiated a 365 is where you post a photo everyday for [...] -
Photo Exhibition… more photos
A selection of pictures from my Photo Exhibition last month. Many thanks to Alex Lawrence for coming along and taking these snaps for me. -
My Exhibition last night
Thanks to all those who attended my exhibition last night, it was lovely to see you all. I had great feedback and sold several prints, which was a result. The location was Valentines Mansion, a beautiful 300 year old building that’s just been renovated. It’s a truly stunning place and I thank the people that [...] -
Exhibition Tonight
It’s my first – and probably only – photography exhibition tonight. Right now I’m at work surrounded by boards and my lovely prints, we’ve plotted out around half in the lunch hour and are doing the rest after hours before taking everything upto the beautiful building nearby, where they’ll be displayed and hopefully a few [...] -
Darn! Printer! FAIL!
Darn and bugger. Just printing off the welcome notes for my photo exhibition and the colour cart has started to run dry. Grrr. No way I can afford a new one… going to have to scrounge a few favours methinks. In other news, if you’re attending on Wednesday night and using twitter, please can you [...] -
Working on the exhibition
It’s my debut photography exhibition on Wednesday evening. So I’m spending the weekend getting things ready, whilst my friends Wendy and Richard – admittedly – do all the hard work mounting my photos. I’ve just restored the playlist I made a few weeks ago. My NAS crashed during the week, so have had to restore my [...] -
Met Warns officers off photographers
Just read this article on The Register about the Met’s reaction to numerous media reports on officers stopping photographers from going about their work, citing the Terrorism Act of 2000. It’s something that we’ve all heard about and probably signed countless petitions over and is something that I myself have been pulled up on whilst taking [...] -
Planning, prepping, working…
Everything’s still super-busy. Massive amount of work at the dayjob, setting up this site still and planing my photography exhibition – just over a week to go! The work on the next set of What’s On Stage films starts soon too. So haven’t had time to blog – not the best of starts with a [...]
