Video – Almost Famous The Musical – Fever Dog Supercut

The final curtain calls of Almost Famous The Musical’s Broadway run merged into one big supercut.

This video showcases the original company’s story in making the show from San Diego’s Old Globe in 2019, through the covid pandemic and then onto Broadway in 2022. It also features an appearance at the end from writer Cameron Crowe and composer Tom Kitt.

My footage was filmed in 4K Dolby Vision at 60fps on an iPhone 14 Pro Max at the final show on Sunday 8th January 2023 and both Matinee and Evening performances on Saturday 7th January. This supercut also incorporates footage shot by followers of the fan’s Instagram account https://instagram.com/almostFamousMusicalFans

About the curtain call

The show ended with an incendiary performance of the the fictional band Stillwater’s hit song “Fever Dog” which gave each member of the company a moment in the spotlight to showcase their vocals and then take their bows to the audience. The song was originally found in the movie on which this show is based on. Full of energy the audience rose to their feet every night to dance, cheer and applaud. Whilst the broadway run of the musical is complete we eagerly anticipate the release of the cast recording in March and announcements of future USA tours and international productions.
